Our Services
Everything your home needs, electrically speaking. We keep it simple and we keep it safe.
Knob & Tube Rewiring
Knob and tube wiring was standard in homes built before the 1950s. It worked fine for the way people used electricity back then — a few lights, maybe a radio. But it was never designed for air conditioning, microwaves, computers, and everything else modern homes demand.
The insulation around the wires gets brittle over the years. It cracks. It falls off. And when bare copper wire sits against wood framing or blown-in insulation, you've got a real fire hazard. Most insurance companies won't cover a home with active knob and tube, or they'll charge you a premium.
We've rewired plenty of older homes in Warminster and across Bucks County. We know how to work through walls and ceilings with minimal damage, and we coordinate with inspectors to make sure everything passes. When we're done, your home's wiring is modern, safe, and up to code.
Signs you might have knob and tube:
- Your home was built before 1960
- Two-prong outlets throughout the house
- Ceramic knobs and tubes visible in the basement or attic
- Insurance company flagged your wiring
- Lights flicker or circuits trip frequently

Electrical Panel Upgrades
Your electrical panel is the heart of your home's power system. If it's outdated, undersized, or a recalled brand, everything downstream is at risk. We see a lot of 100-amp panels in this area that homeowners have been nursing along for years, but they're maxed out.
An upgrade to a 200-amp panel gives you room to breathe. You can add an EV charger, finish your basement, install a hot tub, or just stop worrying about tripping breakers every time you run the microwave and the AC at the same time.
If you have a Federal Pacific, Zinsco, or Challenger panel, those have known safety issues and should be replaced. Same goes for any panel with scorch marks, a burning smell, or breakers that won't stay reset.
We upgrade and replace:
- 100A to 200A panel upgrades
- Federal Pacific & Zinsco panel replacements
- Fuse box to breaker panel conversions
- Sub-panel installations
- Whole-home surge protection
Warning Signs
Call us right away if you notice any of these:
- ! Burning smell near the panel
- ! Breakers that won't stay on
- ! Scorch marks or discoloration
- ! Buzzing or crackling sounds
- ! Panel feels warm to the touch
